My mother broke her hip

my mother fell and broke her hip and is now in the hospital waitng for a surgeon to repair the break. Problem is she also has cancer in that leg in her calf which has an open sore . They are going to try and to a skin graft to close the wound . The doctor does not want to operate until the graft is complete so it looks as though she may be in the hospital for quite some time. Fortunately she has insurance which should cover much of the expenses.

Please join me in praying for her safe recovery and also for the well being of her husband Albert who is alone at home and has a hard time taking care of himself because of a stroke he several some years ago.

Update for Karen and David

I met with Father and Pam today and it went well. Pam wants me to stay with the
group till Easter. I will be participating in the welcoming to the
community on July 11th. Not sure what mass. Then the next day the group
I am with will be leaving to go to the class during Mass after the
Homily.

Welcome friends

This is my first blog ever so please me patient with me. I am going to see my Pastor today about becoming confirmed into the Catholic Faith. I am kind of nervous because it is a big decision but the only one that makes any sense to me. I will let you know how it goes.
